I was born and I live in Val Badia, in the heart of the Dolomites. My passion for the mountains was born from an early age. Venturing on the hills and summits around my home made me appreciate the environment and helped me discover the true benefits of living in the great outdoors. Spending time in the mountains makes me feel good, gives me energy and a deep sense of freedom. I like hiking, climbing, via ferrata, cycling, skiing, ski touring, basically I like doing sports all year – I’m lucky because this is possible where I live in the Dolomites.

Anna’s love affair with the mountains started when, at the age of 17, she spent an entire summer exploring the Western Beskids range in her home country, Poland. Since then, the travel bug has taken over her life. She hiked, climbed, cycled and skied in over 100 countries. She’s passionate about languages, social anthropology, stand-up comedy and vegetarian cooking. When she’s not mountain leading, she can be found wild camping in the Scottish mountains or assisting with legal affairs in The Hague.

Kris discovered mountains and hiking in his late twenties while pursuing a career in mechanical engineering. While working in Denmark, the passion for adventure and the outdoors started to demand more time than what was available with a full-time job, so in 2017 he decided to get qualified as an expedition leader, wilderness first responder and international mountain leader. Besides hiking all over the world, Kris is also an ultrarunner, triathlete, rock climber and a mountaineer.

In her youth Sophie spent many holidays on Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean exploring the island on foot. Later, in France, the call of nature was stronger than her biology studies and she decided to become a Mountain Leader. She has spent her life moving between the sea, where she freedives and the mountains where she climbs. She loves walking, writing, drawing, climbing, always seeking to climb higher or freedive lower. Now she splits her life between the sea in the winter and the Alps in the summer.
